Dr Jon Houghton is a leading Sports Medicine and Rheumatology Consultant at Fortius Clinic and Chief Medical Officer for the Football Association of Wales. He specialises in tendon and overuse injuries, bone stress conditions, and complex lower-limb pain in both elite athletes and active individuals.
A former Consultant at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court, Jon co-leads the Fortius Tendon and Bone Stress Clinics and plays a key role in advancing national tendon research. He also oversees medical care for Surrey County Cricket Club and the Oval Invincibles, bringing world-class expertise from elite sport to every patient he treats.
